Sales and Scheduling Officer
Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation built on the proud traditions and programs of our founding organisations, the Royal Life Saving Society – Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia.
Lifesaving has been an integral part of the Victorian way of life since 1904. Today LSV is a multifaceted volunteer-based community organisation with a focus on public safety and community wellbeing.
Our volunteers, members, employees and partners work together with communities, educational institutions, government agencies, businesses and the broader aquatic industry, to Save lives and empower communities to safely enjoy water.
About the role
This is a full time, ongoing position based at our Port Melbourne office, with hybrid working arrangements. As the Sales and Scheduling Officer for the Public Training and Pool Safety team, you will play a vital role in administering both accredited and non-accredited water safety and first aid training courses. Additionally, you will:
- Contribute to quality assurance checks, support inbound and outbound sales, assist with the broader training course management structures and coordinate the logistics of equipment and resources
- Contribute to building and maintaining relationships with current and future clients and actively identify and seek out new opportunities for LSV
- Promote positive relationships with third party training delivery stakeholders, through both written and verbal communication
- Actively participate in meetings, providing administration support as required and assist with the development and improvement of documentation, guidelines, policies, procedures and projects
About you
You are a highly organised and customer-focused professional with experience coordinating people and resources in a fast-paced environment. You have a proven ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and make informed decisions while maintaining strong attention to detail. You will bring:
- Experience coordinating people, resources and operational activities
- Demonstrated success delivering high-quality customer service
- Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with stakeholders
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check is required (or willingness to obtain)
